Vancouver, BC – For our first year anniversary in our East Pender, Chinatown space we decided to throw a pop-up shop and invite the whole neighborhood. We grabbed some of our favorite designers and boss female entrepreneurs to come through and help create a vibe over two days in November – and it was incredible!
We had some amazing Vancouver designers like Kim Legler, Pr0fan1ty, One Delirious Dream, Sakred Noir and Domingo Vintage showing and selling their goods, Jamie Kan doing on-site tattoos, Tarot card readings with Stacey Coplin, express teeth whitening with Beautiful Bright Smile, nail art, tooth bling application, hair braiding and more. We were so happy to be able to provide a safe and creative space for everyone who came down to help us celebrate.
If you didn’t make it out this year there’s always next year! Oh, and we created a gallery recap of the entire event, just to make the FOMO even more real. Check it out below!
Taking advantage of JKB Studio with an impromptu photo shoot. Luckily we had plenty of inspiring subjects to work with ;).
Jamie Kan and her sweet, dainty tattoos were a very popular choice during the pop-up. Although she is now on maternity leave, you can still check out her work on her IG here: @jamezkan.
We LOVE us some Domingo Vintage and their vintage sportswear reworks. We still have pieces for sale at Beautique too so come through or check them out on IG at: @domingovintage.
Sakred Noir has an amazing little set-up complete with unique jewelry and deliciously smelling candles – perfect if you’re looking for gift ideas (for yourself or someone else). May we recommend the Coco Nite candles in Coconut Cream. Look them up on IG at: @sakrednoir.
Stacey Coplin speaking some truths over a deck. Find her on IG at: @staceycoplin.
Making smiles shine with express teeth whitening. Find Beautiful Bright Smile back at Beautique for select dates in December and find them on IG at: @beautifulbrightsmile.
Quick and easy tooth bling by Haley! Find her at Beautique or on IG at: @haleystuarttt.
Thank you to all of the beautiful faces that came through to help us celebrate our first anniversary in Chinatown!
